Ken and I are very happy with our new lighting system. We were very impressed with the quality of workmanship and professional services of the electricians, Ray, Ed and Adam. They were very friendly, good natured and took great care to do an excellent job and leave everything very clean. We appreciated the good advice from Ray with some lighting decisions. We also appreciated the kind and efficient office reception from Linda and her phone calls to let us know exactly when the electricians were coming. We just want to say what an absolute pleasure it was to have Ray in our home today to reroute the wiring for our bathroom fan (that we inadvertantly hooked up to a 3-way switch) and check and hook up our pump house which we had wired in 2004, but never hooked up. While he was here, he even trimmed a wall plate for us so we didn't have to cut the wood trim. He was such a friendly, knowledgeable and kind person. Our relationship with Blue Crest Electric started back in 2008. The previous year we had just moved into our dream home in Abbotsford. We had a home inspection done and there were a few electrical needs that were highly recommended to be done. The first was getting a sump pump float & alarm installed. This Doug & Adam did with great efficiency. From there we just kept finding things for them to do, like installing art lights, a new lamp post out front, dimmer switches etc. It was highly recommended by Doug that we put a surge protector on our electrical panel. Everyone buys a surge protector for their computer but no one seems to think about protecting their whole home. We put in a couple of water features at the front & back of our house. We needed some landscape lighting and the solar powered lights just weren't cutting the mustard. Doug put a lot of thought into the wiring so that all the lights would be the same brightness. We were just thrilled with the results. Next big project was the generator. Ray had given us a quote a year ago on supplying and installing a backup generator in case our power went out. This year we decided to go ahead with it. Linda made all the arrangements to co-ordinate Terasen Gas with the gas installer and kept us well informed. She always called us ahead of time to let us know when people were coming over. The day the generator was installed it was bitterly cold. Ray, Doug & Adam just put their heads down and forged ahead not one word of complaint. They were here all day from 8:00 am until 7:00 pm determined to get it finished. We would not hesitate in recommending Blue Crest Electric to anyone who needs an electrician. They are the most professional company we have ever had the pleasure to work with. They are excellent at explaining electrical things in laymen terms but are never condescending when you don't understand something. They are also great at recommending things to be done to make things safer for you in your home but never pressure you into making any decisions. They always amazed us how they treated our home as if it were their home, in the fact that they always wore booties on their feet to protect our floors, put up covers to catch the insulation if they were accessing the attic & always cleaned up their mess, like gyproc dust etc. - C & B Gibson, Abbotsford

Your electrician Doug was exceptionally fabulous! I am grateful for how he treated me, like I was an equal, being female was a non-issue, no patronizion, no conning, no impatience whatsoever, just total respect. He is an excellent teacher as well, and used the analogy of water in a garden hose to explain my problem. I'm an avid gardener so I was able to understand the explaination and make an informed decision about what I can afford to do now and what I need to plan for throughout the upcoming year. I just wish to thank you for repairing our electricial system last week. My wife was home alone, as I was out of town for a few days, when the system failed. She called you late in the day and you stayed till 10:30 p.m. to replace the main switch and some other deficencies in the system. Evidently our electrical system was improperly installed and at risk all these years - we moved in September 1981. Anyway, we thank you and the Lord for how this turned out.

1. Efficient... Blue Crest Electric phoned to set a up time for the estimate and showed up exactly as promised.
2. Blue Crest Electric Ltd. set aside time, on the same day, to give an estimate and do the work, if I accepted, which I did.
3. Blue Crest Electric Ltd. phoned ahead of time to say that the electrician was on his way and he arrived promptly as promised.
4. There are no huge gaping holes in my wall... no 'oops's, and they wore protective covering on their feet.
5. As an added bonus what little mess Blue Crest Electric Ltd made, they cleaned up after themselves!

My wife and I would like to extend our sincere appreciation to Ray for the electrical services that he completed on our behalf. We were experiencing problems with our circuit breakers "tripping" due to ostensible electrical overloads after we had completed earlier renovations to our kitchen. As that work had been done by a certified journeyman, we had not expected to experience any electrical issues on the completion of his work. But after two attempts to correct this issue by other electricians, my wife and I became concerned over the potential risk of an electrical fire.
